Further reopening week beg. 22nd June

17 June 2020 (by admin)

From Monday 22nd we will be opening to Year 5 children. Staff have already contacted or left messages for all parents/carers of Y5 children and have an indication of how many children will be returning.

If you haven’t made a decision yet we MUST know by the end of the school day tomorrow (Thursday) so that we can finalise our arrangements.

You can phone school or email Mrs Palmer or Mrs Dalzell if you have not yet let us know your intentions. You cannot send your child back to school on Monday unless you have contacted us.

I have already shared this information with relevant groups but will set it out again to make sure everyone is clear about some changes to be implemented from 22nd June:

Key Worker / vulnerable children’s day runs from 8.30 am until 3.15 pm Monday to Friday. Entry and exit is through the fire exit door at the back of the hall.

Y6 pupils’ day runs from 8.50am until 3pm Monday to Thursday. Entry and exit through the KS2 gate.

Y5 pupils’ day runs from 9.15am until 3.30pm Monday to Thursday. Entry and exit through the KS2 gate.

Please make sure that all children arrive promptly at the given times to ensure that we do not have large numbers of children entering school at the same time.

Key worker parents need to drop off and meet their children by the KS1 gate area / staff parking area near to the rear hall exit.

Y5 and Y6 parents collecting children please wait in the car park behind the barrier and your children will be brought out to you. We need to leave all pathways clear so that children walking home themselves have a clear route off the premises.

Yet again, thank you all so much for being so understanding of the things we are having to put in place to make us compliant with requirements at this very surreal time!
