Librarians

We are the Year 6 Librarians and we play an important role in helping our school library run smoothly.

We help to keep our school library in tip-top shape by organising books, adding new titles and making sure it is a welcoming place for pupils to use.

We carry out book stock checks and help to order new and exciting books when they are needed. We also support our school’s Accelerated Reader programme by signing out books and checking in returned ones.

As part of our role, we organise fun competitions that promote reading and encourage a love of books across the school.

Our recently installed playground libraries also help to encourage pupils to read during playtimes and lunchtimes.

We are a lovely, friendly team—so why not join us and choose a great book from our school library? Remember, the library is open every morning from 8.30 - 8.50am for you to choose or return your book.
