Spiritual, Moral, Social & Cultural Development (SMSC)
Spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is at the heart of our school and runs throughout all areas of the curriculum and wider school life. SMSC is the overarching umbrella that encompasses the personal development of every pupil at Castletown Primary School. Throughout daily school life, all aspects of our curriculum and wider life within the school and local community, we aim to provide children with the opportunities and tools they need to develop into the kind of young people we aspire to have, not only within our school, but within the wider world.
